Goals and objectives of Southern Provincial Road Development Authority are as follows;

1. Maintain an adequate Provincial Road Network.

2. Maintain an acceptable level of access/mobility in the Provincial Road Network.

3. Maintain the Provincial Road Network to an acceptable level.

4. Reduce road user cost.

5. Enhance road safety in the Provincial Road Network.

6. Ensure efficient utilization of assets and investments.

7. Ensure protection of the environment in all activities.

8. Promote organizational development.

9. Assist in the development of the local road construction industry.
